About the Role

HP Inc. is seeking a talented Financial Analyst - Controllership and Tax to join our Controllership Accounting and Statutory Reporting (CASR) team in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. You will mentor junior members, lead stakeholder reviews, and provide management updates, all while upholding stringent controls for data integrity. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage provision of information for complex direct tax compliance requirements including CIT filings
  • Prepare complex US GAAP tax provision calculations and related compliances
  • Provide data required for transfer pricing documentation
  • Perform accounts reconciliations for direct tax GLs previously outsourced
  • Manage relationships with Tax, Controllership, and external tax consultants
  • Lead reviews with stakeholders including tax teams, controllership, and auditors
  • Mentor junior team members and drive key tax compliance projects
  • Identify process efficiencies, optimize, and automate tax compliance activities
  • Ensure robust controls for data accuracy in shared information
  • Provide regular progress updates to management and resolve conflicts
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support HP's global financial innovation

Required Qualifications

  • Finance professional, CA (Chartered Accountant) qualification
  • 8-10 years of work experience in financial management, internal audit, accounting, or related field
  • Strong accounting and tax domain knowledge
  • Advanced skills in SAP/S4 HANA
  • Proven ability to work to stringent deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in multinational corporate tax compliance and US GAAP tax provisions
  • Background in controllership or statutory reporting for global entities
  • Prior exposure to transfer pricing documentation and direct tax GL reconciliations
  • Experience mentoring junior team members in finance teams
