Key Responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end accounting processes and analyze transactional data to support informed decision-making at HP Inc.
• Serve as the primary escalation point for customer and internal issues in Accounts Payable and related areas.
• Facilitate the implementation, adoption, and integration of new accounting processes and systems across HP's global organization.
• Proactively identify gaps and opportunities for improvement in financial operations and make actionable recommendations.
• Execute and ensure the effectiveness of business controls through comprehensive reviews, analyses, and verifications.
• Support department teams by assisting in training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate and oversee the month-end closing process to ensure financial data accuracy and resolve general ledger discrepancies promptly.
• Assist in preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Apply extensive knowledge to resolve complex issues and recommend innovative improvements in accounting practices.
• Coordinate functional work within the finance department, assist various teams, monitor process execution, and foster positive relationships with associates and management.
• Leverage HP's technology-driven tools to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency in support of customer-centric innovation.

Required Qualifications

• Accounting related degree (Bachelor's or equivalent)
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Relevant experience in Accounts Payable processes
• Proficiency in SAP Applications
• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end accounting processes
• Knowledge of financial statement preparation and analysis
• Experience with month-end closing and general ledger reconciliation
• Ability to handle escalations and resolve complex accounting issues

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in finance or accounting roles
• Experience in a multinational technology company
• Familiarity with HP's financial systems and processes
• Certification in accounting (e.g., CPA or equivalent)
• Previous exposure to process improvement initiatives
• Mandarin fluency for Shanghai-based operations
