You will process critical HR transactions, maintain accurate employee records, ensure compliance with global and local standards, and collaborate on process improvements that drive efficiency and innovation within HP's dynamic technology ecosystem. Key to success in this role is your ability to act as an HR consultant, providing expert guidance to departments, delivering training on best practices, and educating stakeholders on self-service tools. You will respond promptly to employee inquiries with Philippines-specific knowledge, update our knowledge database, and represent HR Global Services in projects like acquisitions. Key Responsibilities

  • Provides support and processes HR activities such as pre-hire checks, hiring in HR system, new-hire pre-onboarding, onboarding, data changes, disability claims, leave of absence, compensation, benefits, and termination
  • Initiates, reviews, and approves daily HR system transactions ensuring compliance with HP policies and procedures
  • Oversees employee records, ensures accuracy and up-to-date information, and supports audits, government surveys, and reporting
  • Serves as a consultant to departments outside shared services to streamline HR processes, improve procedures, and provide training on best practices
  • Maintains HP’s internal HR control standards, including timely implementation of internal audit points and external regulator issues
  • Collaborates with shared services managers to improve processes and systems for a positive employee lifecycle experience
  • Educates HR generalists, people managers, and employees on practices and tools to enable self-service via HR systems and platforms
  • Provides orientation to new hires and delivers training for new processes, programs, and platform rollouts
  • Ensures exceptional service by promptly responding to employee questions via HR platform with country-specific knowledge and updates knowledge database
  • Supports HR projects including acquisition deals, representing HR Global Services as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any other related discipline
  • Typically 2-4 years of work experience in customer service, HR shared services, or a related field
  • Demonstrated competence in HR processes including onboarding, data management, and compliance
  • Experience with HR systems and transaction processing
  • Ability to manage employee records and support audits/reporting
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and control standards
  • Proficiency in delivering HR training and orientation
  • Experience supporting HR projects and process improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Society for Human Resource Management-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SHPR)
  • Advanced degree in HR or related field with relevant experience
  • Experience in a global technology company environment
  • Knowledge of Philippines-specific HR regulations and compliance
  • Prior work in HR shared services or global HR operations
