This position demands extensive expertise in Customs Regulatory compliance under the Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) Act, freight coordination, and collaboration with government bodies, suppliers, LSPs, and internal teams. You will apply deep subject matter knowledge to resolve complex business challenges, lead process enhancements, and drive strategic initiatives that align with HP's customer-centric culture and commitment to operational excellence. Key responsibilities include managing LMW customs liaison tasks such as GPB applications, license renewals, and monthly reporting (M1/M2, M3/M4), while proactively updating processes amid evolving regulations. You will monitor key metrics, spearhead cost-saving programs, manage third-party logistics providers including hazardous waste suppliers, and contribute to Industry 4.0 supply chain transformations through data analytics. Acting as a team leader, you will facilitate decision-making, mentor junior contributors, and provide analytic support to ensure seamless high-volume manufacturing support, fostering innovation in HP's dynamic technology ecosystem. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide complex-level logistics support for high-volume manufacturing operations at HP's Batu Kawan facility
  • Manage day-to-day LMW Customs Liaison including GPB applications, exemptions, license renewals, and timely customs reports submission
  • Enhance existing processes on Customs and Trade Compliance while staying updated on latest regulatory changes
  • Solve complex issues and drive tactical/strategic initiatives like process standardizations and program strategies
  • Monitor programs, delivery solutions, key metrics, and propose solutions with limited guidance
  • Collaborate with teams to achieve business objectives including cost-management, savings, and operational excellence
  • Manage 3rd Party Logistics providers, insourced operations, chemical/hazardous waste suppliers, and mentor junior staff
  • Provide independent analytic and strategic support to logistics operations
  • Contribute to Data Analytics and Future Supply Chain transformation aligned with HP's Industry 4.0 vision
  • Lead cross-functional teams, facilitate decision-making, and exercise judgment on complex business issues

Required Qualifications

  • First level university degree or equivalent industry experience
  • Typically 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing Operations Logistics Customs and Trade Compliance
  • Vast knowledge in Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) Act, SST Act and regulations
  • Well versed with Customs Monthly reporting for LMW, M1/M2 & M3/M4 reporting
  • Strong understanding of HP’s materials & distribution processes
  • Experience managing 3rd Party Logistics including LSPs and insourced operations
  • Proficiency in SAP systems and Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to multitask under pressure and willingness to travel across operation sites

  • Knowledge of Freight Management, International Freight & Customs
  • Exposure to Data Analytics and Reporting tools (Power BI, JMP)
