About the Role

HP Inc. is seeking a skilled Onsite Administrator, Print (OSA Level II) to join our innovative Services team in Cary, North Carolina. This critical onsite role focuses on delivering exceptional print technology support at customer sites, ensuring seamless operations through proactive monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HP printing solutions. As a key player in HP's customer-centric ecosystem, you will manage consumables, resolve device issues, and collaborate with teams to uphold our commitment to innovation and reliability in print services. Residing in or commuting daily to Cary, NC, is required to provide hands-on support that drives customer satisfaction and operational excellence. In this position, you will monitor systems for performance issues, perform routine installations and configurations, and execute scripted change management while adhering to rigorous incident, change, and problem management protocols. Responsibilities include inventory management for toner and paper, clearing jams, assisting end-users, coordinating with HP support, and swapping devices with spares. You will identify trends, escalate incidents within strict timeframes, and contribute to process improvements that standardize operations globally, all with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor systems to detect performance issues and resolve technical problems on assigned hardware and software platforms using established protocols
  • Manage consumable inventory, replace toner/consumables/paper, and ensure adequate supplies at customer sites
  • Clear paper jams and assist end users with device functionality
  • Perform initial troubleshooting and swap out devices with spares as needed
  • Coordinate with HP software branded support and report customer dissatisfaction to CSM/SDM
  • Assist with collection of usage pages per devices and conduct routine installations/configurations
  • Execute scripted change management activities while adhering to incident, change, and problem management processes
  • Respond to customer inquiries promptly to ensure high satisfaction and exceed contract-required response times
  • Identify incident trends, escalate as needed, and align work with departmental strategies
  • Maintain data confidentiality and support process improvements for global standardization
  • Complete day-to-day tasks with forward planning and collaborate on operational enhancements

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED) or higher secondary education or commensurate work experience
  • 2-5 years of related work experience in maintenance, quality, or a related field
  • Must reside in Cary, North Carolina, or commute daily to customer site
  • Demonstrated competence in hardware troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Experience with print devices and consumables management
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong adherence to incident, change, and problem management processes
