HP Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst - CFR Corporate Accounting to join our Worldwide Controllership Organization in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. As the custodian of HP Inc.'s US GAAP Policy & Compliance, Corporate Financial Reporting (CFR) plays a pivotal role in ensuring revenue recognition aligns with US SEC and GAAP requirements. In this senior role, you will leverage your unique mastery in accounting principles to provide definitive guidance on complex sales transactions, customer contracts, and emerging business models. Collaborating with business finance and account management teams, you will proactively influence deal structures, lead global initiatives, and drive innovative solutions that support HP's customer-centric technology leadership. Operating in a Flex workstyle, you will contribute to large cross-division projects that shape our long-term strategic goals in a dynamic hardware and innovation ecosystem. Key responsibilities include delivering technical accounting consultations, maintaining ASC 606-compliant policies, analyzing nonstandard contracts, and supporting external audits while ensuring robust internal controls. You will author whitepapers, facilitate virtual cross-functional meetings, and provide training to empower finance teams worldwide. By monitoring new pronouncements and reviewing emerging models, you will safeguard compliance and enable self-sufficiency across HP's global operations. As a recognized authority, you will consult with directors and VPs, exercise independent judgment, and mentor analysts to foster process improvements that enhance efficiency and innovation in our technology-driven enterprise. This position demands superior analytical, communication, and project management skills, coupled with excellent business acumen in the tech industry. With 10+ years of experience and an advanced accounting certification (CA/CPA), you will impact large functions, lead cross-division teams, and develop strategies that reinforce HP's commitment to integrity and excellence.
