As an intern, you’ll contribute to real-world projects automating processes and developing software that advances HP’s sustainability goals, collaborating with engineers and experts in a dynamic, inclusive environment that values every voice. In this role, you will develop full-stack applications using Python, JavaScript, and Databricks to enhance data management and carbon reporting. You’ll design data models, automate workflows, and create insightful visualizations with Power BI and Excel, directly supporting HP’s operations and customer services. Working in a flexible, hybrid workstyle, you’ll translate complex sustainability challenges into innovative technical solutions, fostering collaboration across global teams and leveraging HP’s legendary culture of innovation and professional growth. This paid internship, starting February 2026 and running through June-July 2026, offers part-time or full-time flexibility, on-site perks like cafeteria lunches and a state-of-the-art sports center, plus networking through the NextGen employee community. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain software tools and full-stack applications to support sustainability and carbon analysis efforts
  • Design and implement data models and process automation using Python and Databricks
  • Contribute to front-end and back-end development using JavaScript
  • Analyze and visualize data with Excel and Power BI to support decision-making and reporting
  • Collaborate with the HP Climate team to translate sustainability requirements into actionable technical solutions
  • Support carbon accounting, reporting, and compliance services
  • Improve data management and modeling across HP operations
  • Participate in innovation projects driving HP’s climate action strategy
  • Assist in delivering customer-facing sustainability tools and services
  • Engage in agile development practices within a cross-functional team

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field at a university in Spain, remaining enrolled until the end of the internship
  • Available to start the internship in February 2026 and continue until June–July 2026
  • Proficient in Python and JavaScript
  • Familiar with Databricks, Power BI, and Excel
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English (Spanish is a plus)
  • Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, learning-driven attitude
