Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the Presales Technical Consultant team, driving technical sales strategy and execution across Enterprise and Small Enterprise accounts
  • Develop and implement presales strategies aligned with HP's business goals and innovation roadmap
  • Conduct regular training to ensure team expertise in HP's current and emerging technologies
  • Collaborate with Account Executive Managers and sales leadership to assess customer requirements and deliver tailored demonstrations
  • Architect and validate technical solutions, overseeing proposals, RFP responses, and tender documentation
  • Build strong client relationships to foster trust, credibility, and long-term partnerships
  • Monitor team budgets for travel, software, equipment, and training while providing accurate financial forecasts
  • Drive team performance through coaching, mentoring, upskilling, and individual development plans
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and provide feedback to HP product teams
  • Ensure compliance with legal, ethical standards and represent HP at industry events

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
  • 8+ years of job-related experience in technical consulting, presales, or solution architecture
  • 8–10 years of management experience leading technical teams in a sales or presales environment
  • Proven experience with budget management and financial forecasting
  • Strong background in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and enterprise software
  • Hands-on experience with technologies like SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and virtualization tools
  • Experience in Enterprise and Small Enterprise accounts across HP product portfolio
