The HR Manager, Commercial HRBP for China Foods, based in Shanghai, is a pivotal role partnering with the Commercial team to deliver strategic HR initiatives. This position focuses on talent acquisition, total rewards, performance management, learning and development, organization design, succession planning, culture, engagement, and change management. Serving as a trusted advisor to mid- and junior-level employees, you will resolve disputes, build strong employee relationships, and collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COE), China HR Centers of Capability (CHCC), and International Career Centers (ICC) to align HR processes with business goals. This full-time role offers a dynamic environment in PepsiCo's Shanghai office, contributing to the Foods Category's success in China's vibrant market.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to execute HR core processes and talent strategies. Key responsibilities include:
Build a robust learning culture by deploying global projects like PEP U DEGREED and Marketing Knowledge Center. Design and implement capability-building programs, diagnose skill gaps, and facilitate workshops on career philosophy, growth models, and leadership frameworks such as Great 5. Provide career counseling and partner with Talent Acquisition (TA) for strategic hiring.
Collaborate with HRD and stakeholders on Annual Operating Plan (AOP) manpower planning, org design, talent movements, and pipeline strategies. Facilitate Foods Category culture meetings and townhalls to boost engagement. Coach leaders on employee relations, performance issues, and compliance with labor laws, local regulations, and company policies. Lead ad hoc projects like the Future Leaders program, internships, and assessments.
