Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate leads for mid-sized companies (~100 employees) through inbound and outbound efforts
  • Conduct discovery calls and demos showcasing HubSpot's CRM and inbound marketing solutions
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using HubSpot Sales Hub
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to drive revenue growth
  • Collaborate with marketing and customer success teams to ensure seamless handoffs
  • Provide tailored growth strategies leveraging HubSpot's flywheel methodology
  • Track sales performance metrics and report on quarterly quotas
  • Stay updated on HubSpot product updates and competitive landscape
  • Participate in sales training and contribute to team knowledge sharing
  • Support customer onboarding to maximize adoption and expansion opportunities
  • Represent HubSpot at industry events and networking opportunities in Japan

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B direct sales, preferably targeting mid-sized companies (~100 employees)
  • Proven track record of achieving sales quotas in SaaS or technology sales
  • Strong understanding of CRM systems and inbound marketing principles
  • Excellent proficiency in Japanese (business level) for direct client communication
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline from lead generation to close
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and events
  • Hunter mentality with a focus on new business development

Preferred Qualifications

  • HubSpot certification (e.g., Sales Software Certified or Inbound Sales Certified)
