As an Account Executive, Small Business, you'll join our high-energy Sales team to help entrepreneurs discover the power of HubSpot's tools for marketing, sales, service, and operations. In this quota-carrying role, you'll focus on acquiring new customers among small businesses (typically under 50 employees), guiding them through personalized demos and closing deals that fuel their growth. Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities with small business owners
  • Conduct discovery calls and product demos showcasing HubSpot's CRM and inbound marketing tools
  • Manage full sales cycle from lead generation to signed contracts and onboarding
  • Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas
  • Build and nurture relationships with prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Collaborate with marketing and customer success teams to ensure seamless handoffs
  • Utilize HubSpot CRM to track pipeline, forecast accurately, and report on sales activity
  • Stay updated on HubSpot product updates and competitive landscape
  • Participate in sales training and contribute to team knowledge sharing
  • Drive customer adoption of HubSpot's growth tools post-sale

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in SaaS, CRM, or inbound marketing
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of small business needs and CRM solutions
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with sales tools like Salesforce or HubSpot CRM
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote-first setting
  • Comfortable with high-volume outbound prospecting and cold calling
