Key Responsibilities

  • Review, negotiate, and draft commercial contracts for upmarket DACH customers, ensuring alignment with HubSpot's legal standards and business objectives
  • Collaborate with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to structure deals that accelerate customer growth using HubSpot's CRM and inbound marketing platform
  • Manage end-to-end contract lifecycle, from initial review to execution, renewals, and amendments in a high-volume environment
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR, DACH regional laws, and HubSpot's global policies while mitigating legal risks
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Legal, Finance, and Sales to support deal velocity and revenue growth
  • Utilize HubSpot CRM to track contract status, customer metadata, and performance metrics
  • Provide guidance on contract best practices to the DACH sales team to enable scalable growth
  • Identify opportunities to standardize contract language for efficiency in HubSpot's inbound-led sales motion
  • Monitor contract performance post-execution and support upsell/cross-sell opportunities
  • Contribute to HubSpot's HEART values by fostering a collaborative, transparent culture in the DACH region

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in contract management, legal operations, or commercial contracting within the SaaS or technology sector
  • Fluency in German and English (both written and spoken) at a native or C1+ level
  • Proven track record managing high-volume contract negotiations in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)
  • Strong understanding of GDPR, EU data protection laws, and DACH-specific commercial regulations
  • Experience with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot, for tracking contract workflows and customer data
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with a focus on inbound marketing and customer-centric solutions
