Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a world-class UX team, fostering HubSpot's HEART culture of Humble, Empathetic, Adaptable, Remarkable, and Transparent designers
  • Define and execute the UX vision and strategy aligned with HubSpot's inbound methodology and CRM innovation roadmap
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Growth teams to deliver intuitive, customer-centric experiences that accelerate user onboarding and retention
  • Champion user research initiatives to uncover insights driving inbound marketing success and CRM adoption
  • Oversee the design system evolution to ensure scalable, consistent experiences across HubSpot's flywheel platform
  • Partner with executive leadership to prioritize UX investments that fuel revenue growth and customer delight
  • Drive A/B testing and usability studies to optimize interfaces for marketers, sales, and service teams
  • Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement in line with HubSpot's growth mindset
  • Represent UX in customer advisory boards and inbound events to gather frontline feedback
  • Measure and report on UX KPIs, such as NPS, task completion rates, and feature adoption in CRM workflows

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in UX design leadership, with at least 5 years in a director-level role at a high-growth SaaS company
  • Proven track record of leading UX teams in CRM or enterprise software environments, ideally with exposure to inbound marketing tools
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's preferred)
  • Deep expertise in user research, interaction design, and visual design methodologies
  • Experience scaling UX organizations in fast-paced, growth-oriented cultures like HubSpot's
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating impactful UX improvements that drove user adoption and business growth
  • Familiarity with agile development processes and cross-functional collaboration in product-led organizations
