Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers building Flywheel Sales Agents, HubSpot's AI-powered tools that revolutionize inbound sales within our CRM platform
  • Define technical vision and roadmap for sales agent features aligned with HubSpot's growth flywheel
  • Hire, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team in our collaborative, customer-obsessed culture
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and sales teams to deliver scalable, innovative solutions
  • Drive technical excellence, code quality, and best practices in a full-stack environment
  • Optimize systems for performance, reliability, and integration with HubSpot's inbound marketing ecosystem
  • Foster a culture of experimentation, data-driven decisions, and continuous learning
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to align engineering efforts with business goals and customer success

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of building scalable systems
  • 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management
  • Deep experience with CRM systems, AI/ML integrations, or sales automation technologies
  • Strong understanding of full-stack development, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), and modern web technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment like HubSpot's culture
  • Experience with agile methodologies and delivering products that drive customer growth and revenue

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working at a high-growth SaaS company, ideally in CRM or inbound marketing
  • Familiarity with HubSpot's Flywheel methodology and inbound sales principles
  • Background in developing AI-powered sales agents or conversational AI tools
  • MBA or advanced degree in a technical or business field
