Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers building Flywheel Sales Agents, HubSpot's AI-powered tools that supercharge inbound sales within our CRM platform
  • Recruit, hire, onboard, and mentor top-tier engineering talent to scale the team in line with HubSpot's growth culture
  • Collaborate with product managers, sales leaders, and designers to define and deliver features that accelerate customer flywheels
  • Drive technical strategy for sales agent integrations with HubSpot's inbound marketing ecosystem

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of delivering high-impact products
  • 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management
  • Deep experience with CRM systems, AI/ML integrations, or sales automation technologies
  • Strong understanding of scalable distributed systems and modern web development practices
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Experience with agile methodologies and driving engineering best practices
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with sales, product, and design teams
