Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of engineers building Flywheel Sales Agents, HubSpot's AI-powered sales automation tools integrated with our CRM
  • Drive the technical vision and roadmap for sales agent features that accelerate customer growth using inbound methodologies
  • Mentor and grow a high-performing engineering team, fostering HubSpot's HEART values (Humble, Empathetic, Adaptable, Remarkable, Transparent)
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and sales teams to deliver scalable, customer-centric solutions
  • Ensure high-quality code through code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices in a microservices environment
  • Optimize system performance and reliability for real-time sales interactions and data syncing with HubSpot CRM
  • Champion innovation in AI-driven sales workflows, leveraging HubSpot's Flywheel to help customers attract, engage, and delight

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record of building scalable systems
  • 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management
  • Deep experience with CRM systems, APIs, and integrations, particularly in sales automation and AI-driven workflows
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and microservices architecture
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment like HubSpot's inbound culture
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and delivering products using CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working at a high-growth SaaS company similar to HubSpot
