Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of data scientists to develop advanced ML models for customer segmentation, churn prediction, and lead scoring within HubSpot's CRM ecosystem
  • Design and execute data-driven experiments to optimize inbound marketing campaigns and revenue growth
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to integrate predictive analytics into HubSpot's growth platform
  • Build scalable data pipelines and infrastructure to handle petabyte-scale CRM and behavioral data
  • Mentor junior data scientists, fostering HubSpot's culture of transparency, experimentation, and customer obsession
  • Analyze complex datasets from HubSpot's inbound tools to uncover insights driving customer acquisition and retention
  • Develop and deploy real-time ML models for personalized marketing recommendations and sales forecasting

Required Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
  • 7+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or predictive analytics
  • Proven track record of leading data science teams and delivering impactful projects at scale
  • Advanced proficiency in Python or R for data analysis, modeling, and deployment
  • Deep expertise in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
  • Experience with big data technologies like Spark, Hadoop, or cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP)
  • Strong understanding of CRM data structures, customer behavior analytics, and marketing attribution
