Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of HubSpot's comprehensive Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) strategy across Engineering, ensuring 99.99%+ uptime for CRM and inbound marketing platforms
  • Conduct business impact analyses (BIA) and risk assessments to prioritize resilience efforts for customer-facing services
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Security teams to design, test, and implement failover, backup, and recovery solutions for cloud infrastructure
  • Own the BCDR roadmap, including annual tabletop exercises, full-scale drills, and chaos engineering simulations to validate RTO/RPO targets
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on compliance with SOC 2, GDPR, and other standards, integrating BCDR into HubSpot's growth-oriented development cycles
  • Monitor and report on key resilience metrics, providing executive dashboards and recommendations to mitigate emerging risks
  • Mentor junior program managers and engineers on BCDR best practices, fostering a culture of proactive resilience in HubSpot's high-velocity environment
  • Partner with vendors and third-party providers to ensure ecosystem-wide continuity for HubSpot's global inbound marketing tools
  • Innovate BCDR processes to support HubSpot's scale, incorporating AI/ML for predictive failure detection and automated recovery

Required Qualifications
