Your role will involve partnering closely with Engineering, Product, Security, and Go-to-Market teams to integrate privacy into every aspect of HubSpot's CRM and inbound tools—from data flows in Marketing Hub to customer insights in Sales Hub. You'll conduct PIAs and DPIAs for new features, manage vendor risks, and drive privacy enhancements that scale with our ambitious growth goals. In our collaborative, HEART-driven culture, you'll influence roadmaps, train teams, and report on program maturity to executives, all while fostering a proactive approach to compliance. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of HubSpot's global privacy program, ensuring alignment with inbound marketing and CRM data practices
  • Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) for new features and product launches
  • Collaborate with Legal, Security, Engineering, and Product teams to embed privacy-by-design into HubSpot's growth initiatives
  • Monitor and respond to evolving privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), advising on compliance for inbound marketing tools
  • Manage vendor privacy assessments and data processing agreements to support HubSpot's ecosystem of partners
  • Drive internal privacy training and awareness programs tailored to our high-growth, customer-obsessed culture
  • Oversee privacy incident response, breach notifications, and remediation in coordination with Security teams
  • Develop and maintain privacy policies, notices, and consent management frameworks for CRM user data
  • Represent Privacy in executive forums, influencing roadmap decisions to balance innovation and compliance
  • Build metrics and reporting to measure program effectiveness and report to leadership on privacy maturity
  • Foster a culture of transparency and trust in how HubSpot handles customer data across our platform

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in privacy, security compliance, or related fields in a technology or SaaS environment
  • Deep expertise in global privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and emerging laws like those in Brazil and India
  • Proven track record managing privacy programs at scale in fast-paced, growth-oriented companies
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (CIPP, CISSP) strongly preferred
  • Experience with CRM platforms and data-intensive SaaS products, understanding inbound marketing data flows
  • Strong project management skills with ability to lead cross-functional teams in a high-growth culture
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive compliance initiatives enterprise-wide
  • Excellent knowledge of privacy impact assessments, DPIAs, and risk management frameworks
