Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of notification experiences in HubSpot's Engage product to drive user engagement and retention
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define requirements for CRM-integrated notifications
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform notification timing, content, and delivery
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma or similar tools
  • Iterate designs based on data from A/B tests and user feedback within HubSpot's growth culture
  • Ensure designs align with HubSpot's design system and inbound marketing principles
  • Partner with engineering to implement pixel-perfect notifications across web and mobile
  • Advocate for user-centric decisions in cross-functional sprint planning and reviews

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of experience in product design or UX/UI design roles at tech or SaaS companies
  • Proven track record designing notification systems, in-app messaging, or user engagement features
  • Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design processes for complex CRM or enterprise products
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and researchers
  • Deep understanding of design tools and prototyping for scalable SaaS platforms
