Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design of AI-powered payments features within HubSpot's CRM platform, from ideation to launch
  • Collaborate with product managers, AI engineers, and marketing teams to define user needs and translate them into intuitive interfaces
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to validate designs for inbound marketing and sales workflows
  • Create high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications using Figma, ensuring alignment with HubSpot's design system
  • Iterate on designs based on A/B testing, analytics, and customer feedback to drive growth and retention
  • Champion inclusive design practices, ensuring AI payments features are accessible and trustworthy for global users
  • Partner with engineering to implement pixel-perfect designs and resolve technical constraints
  • Contribute to HubSpot's culture of transparency by documenting design decisions and sharing insights in HEART team meetings
  • Mentor junior designers and advocate for user experience in AI product roadmaps

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in product design, with at least 3 years focused on AI-driven products or fintech interfaces
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design for complex SaaS applications, particularly in payments or financial services
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and prototyping tools like Framer or Principle
  • Proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and data scientists in agile environments
  • Deep understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles
