Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of intuitive customer journey experiences within HubSpot's Platform, enhancing CRM and inbound marketing workflows
  • Conduct user research and synthesize insights to inform design decisions that accelerate customer growth
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to define and refine platform features for seamless user journeys
  • Create high-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, and visual designs that embody HubSpot's HEART (Humble, Empathetic, Adaptable, Remarkable, Transparent) culture
  • Iterate on designs based on usability testing, A/B experiments, and customer feedback loops
  • Champion design system consistency across the Customer Journey Platform
  • Partner with data teams to visualize and optimize key metrics in customer lifecycle stages
  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to HubSpot's culture of continuous innovation
  • Advocate for inclusive design practices that support diverse inbound marketing users
  • Present design work to stakeholders, aligning on vision for platform scalability

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in product design or UX design, with at least 4 years focused on complex platform products
  • Proven track record designing for customer journey platforms, CRM systems, or inbound marketing tools
  • Expertise in end-to-end design process from research and ideation to prototyping, testing, and iteration
  • Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions that drive customer growth and retention
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and data scientists
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Deep understanding of HubSpot's inbound methodology and CRM ecosystem

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing for B2B SaaS platforms with a focus on customer lifecycle management
  • Familiarity with HubSpot's product suite and growth tools
