Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable features for HubSpot's Flywheel Delight team, enhancing customer onboarding and retention
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver delightful user experiences in our CRM platform
  • Develop and integrate APIs to power inbound marketing tools and seamless customer data flows
  • Write clean, testable code following HubSpot's engineering best practices and HEART values
  • Optimize application performance and scalability to support millions of inbound users
  • Participate in code reviews, debugging, and continuous improvement of the Flywheel codebase
  • Experiment with A/B tests and data-driven iterations to boost customer delight and growth metrics
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing in our growth culture
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in CRM, marketing automation, and web technologies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building scalable web applications
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks like React
  • Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Java, and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with CRM systems, APIs, and integrations in a SaaS environment
  • Proven track record of shipping high-quality code in agile, cross-functional teams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented culture
