Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services for HubSpot's Intelligence Team, powering AI-driven insights for CRM users
  • Develop robust data pipelines to process and analyze massive datasets from inbound marketing campaigns
  • Optimize system performance to support real-time intelligence features that drive customer growth
  • Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and frontend engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Implement secure, reliable APIs that integrate seamlessly with HubSpot's CRM ecosystem
  • Lead code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and champion best practices in a growth-oriented culture

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on backend development
  • Strong proficiency in building scalable backend systems using languages like Java, Python, or Go
  • Deep experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, including microservices architecture
  • Proven track record of designing and optimizing databases (SQL/NoSQL) for high-volume data processing
  • Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and real-time analytics in a production environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams within a fast-paced growth culture

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with CRM systems like HubSpot or Salesforce
