Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services powering HubSpot's Intelligence Team features for CRM insights
  • Develop robust data pipelines to process and analyze massive datasets from inbound marketing campaigns
  • Optimize system performance to support real-time intelligence for customer growth and personalization
  • Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and frontend engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions
  • Implement secure, reliable APIs that integrate seamlessly with HubSpot's CRM platform

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 5 years focused on backend development
  • Strong proficiency in building scalable backend systems using languages like Java, Python, or Go
  • Deep experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, including microservices architecture
  • Proven track record of designing and optimizing databases (SQL/NoSQL) for high-volume data processing
  • Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and real-time analytics in a production environment
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, API design (REST/GraphQL), and security best practices
