Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical expert during sales cycles, conducting discovery calls, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept builds tailored to customer inbound marketing and CRM needs
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to develop customized solution proposals that align HubSpot's growth platform with customer business objectives
  • Design and deliver high-impact demos showcasing integrations between HubSpot CRM, Marketing Hub, and third-party tools
  • Lead technical workshops and Q&A sessions to address customer objections and highlight ROI from HubSpot's inbound methodology
  • Build and maintain proof-of-value (POV) environments, including custom workflows, automations, and data migrations
  • Provide post-sale handoff support to Customer Success teams, ensuring seamless onboarding and adoption
  • Stay ahead of HubSpot product updates and inbound marketing trends to position solutions effectively against competitors
  • Contribute to sales enablement by creating reusable demo assets, technical documentation, and training materials
  • Gather customer feedback to inform product roadmap and share insights with HubSpot's engineering and product teams
  • Mentor junior team members on HubSpot best practices and solutions engineering methodologies

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 7+ years of experience in technical sales, solutions engineering, or pre-sales engineering roles within SaaS or technology environments
  • Deep expertise in CRM systems, inbound marketing platforms, and marketing automation tools
  • Proven track record of closing complex deals and contributing to sales quotas exceeding $2M annually
  • Strong understanding of HubSpot's product suite, including Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, and Operations Hub
  • Experience with API integrations, web technologies, and modern tech stacks used in inbound marketing
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for customer meetings, trade shows, and HubSpot events
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
