About the Role

At HubSpot, we're building the ultimate customer platform to empower businesses to grow better through inbound marketing, sales, and service. As a Staff Product Designer on the Data Hub team within User Experience, you'll play a pivotal role in designing the future of customer data management. Data Hub unifies fragmented data sources into a single source of truth, fueling personalized experiences across our CRM ecosystem. You'll craft intuitive interfaces that make complex data ingestion, cleansing, and activation accessible to marketers and sales teams, driving measurable growth for our customers. In this senior individual contributor role, you'll lead end-to-end design for high-impact features, from discovery research with enterprise users to prototyping seamless integrations with Marketing Hub and Sales Hub. Partnering with PMs, engineers, and data scientists, you'll solve ambiguous challenges like real-time data synchronization and privacy-compliant personalization at scale. Your work will embody HubSpot's flywheel philosophy—using design to create self-reinforcing loops of customer delight and business growth—while adhering to our HEART culture of Humble, Empathetic, Adaptable, Remarkable, and Transparent collaboration. We're seeking a designer passionate about data's power to transform businesses, with a portfolio showcasing enterprise SaaS impact. Join our Dublin or remote-friendly team to shape Data Hub's evolution, contribute to our design system, and mentor others in a vibrant, growth-oriented environment where your ideas fuel HubSpot's mission to help millions of companies attract visitors, engage leads, and delight customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of intuitive, scalable experiences for HubSpot's Data Hub, unifying customer data across CRM, marketing, and sales touchpoints
  • Conduct user research and validation with marketers, sales teams, and enterprise customers to inform data ingestion, transformation, and activation features
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define requirements, create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for Data Hub enhancements
  • Champion inbound marketing principles in design decisions, ensuring seamless data flows that fuel personalized customer experiences
  • Iterate designs based on A/B testing, analytics, and feedback to drive user adoption and growth metrics
  • Contribute to HubSpot's design system, ensuring consistency across the platform while innovating for complex data scenarios
  • Partner with data science teams to visualize insights and enable actionable intelligence within the CRM ecosystem
  • Mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of experimentation, empathy, and results in line with HubSpot's growth flywheel
  • Advocate for user-centric design in roadmap planning, aligning with HubSpot's mission to help businesses grow better
  • Present design work to stakeholders, executives, and at industry events to elevate HubSpot's UX leadership

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in product design, with at least 5 years in enterprise SaaS environments focused on data platforms or CRM systems
  • Proven track record designing complex data experiences for large-scale customer data platforms, ideally with exposure to HubSpot's Data Hub or similar CDP solutions
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Expertise in end-to-end design processes, from research and ideation to high-fidelity prototyping and iteration based on user feedback
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating impactful design work in inbound marketing tools, CRM integrations, or data unification platforms

  • Mentoring experience leading junior designers or contributing to design culture in a HEART culture organization

Required Skills

  • Expert-level proficiency in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
  • Advanced prototyping and animation skills (e.g., Framer, Principle)

  • Design systems and component libraries
  • Data visualization and dashboard design
  • CRM and CDP workflow expertise
  • Inbound marketing and growth hacking principles
