Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design of HubSpot's Ecosystems platform, focusing on partner integrations, Apps Marketplace, and CRM extensibility
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and ecosystem partners to define and iterate on user experiences that drive inbound growth
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and competitive analysis to inform design decisions for complex partner workflows
  • Create high-fidelity prototypes, wireframes, and design systems that scale across HubSpot's inbound marketing tools
  • Champion user-centered design principles within cross-functional teams to ensure seamless CRM experiences
  • Mentor junior designers and contribute to HubSpot's design culture of innovation and HEART (Humble, Empathetic, Adaptable, Remarkable, Transparent)
  • Partner with sales and customer success teams to align ecosystem designs with customer growth needs
  • Iterate on designs based on data, A/B testing, and feedback from HubSpot's global customer base

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in product design, with at least 5 years in designing complex ecosystems or partner platforms
  • Expert-level proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD, with a strong portfolio showcasing ecosystem integrations
  • Proven track record of collaborating with engineering, product management, and partner teams to ship customer-facing features
  • Deep understanding of CRM platforms, API integrations, and inbound marketing workflows
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Experience designing for scalability in high-growth SaaS environments like HubSpot's inbound methodology
  • Strong ability to conduct user research and translate insights into actionable design solutions
  • Portfolio demonstrating user-centered design principles applied to B2B ecosystems
