Supports the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of Humana's early career and leadership development programs. This role manages program logistics, events, travel, communications, and materials while partnering with recruiters, program leaders, and business stakeholders. In addition, the coordinator helps manage program data, metrics, and reporting, contributing to process improvements that drive efficiency, consistency, and high‑quality participant experiences. Ideal for someone early in their career, this role offers hands‑on execution with exposure to enterprise talent strategy and scalable program design.

The Emerging Talent Programs Coordinator supports the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of Humana's early career and leadership development programs. This role is responsible for coordinating logistics, managing program operations, supporting stakeholder engagement, and ensuring high‑quality participant experiences across internships, rotational programs, and emerging leader initiatives.

This is a growth‑oriented, individual contributor role designed for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys operational ownership, and is eager to learn how enterprise talent programs are designed, delivered, and scaled. While execution is core to the role, the position also provides exposure to program strategy, data‑driven decision making, and process innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Program Coordination and Execution

  • Support the day‑to‑day coordination of Emerging Leader and early career programs, including internships and rotational experiences
  • Assist with planning and executing orientations, events, development sessions, and program milestones
  • Coordinate logistics including travel, venues, materials, schedules, and on‑site support
  • Maintain program calendars, timelines, and task tracking to ensure timely and accurate delivery

Operational and Logistics Management

  • Manage program materials and physical assets, including swag inventory based in Louisville
  • Support communications to participants, managers, and internal partners
  • Assist with documentation, templates, playbooks, and shared resources
  • Partner with vendors and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of events and initiatives

Data, Metrics, and Process Improvement

  • Support collection, tracking, and management of program data, metrics, and operating insights
  • Assist with reporting related to participation, engagement, logistics, and program outcomes
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, tools, and processes to increase efficiency and consistency
  • Contribute to process engineering efforts that enable scalable, high‑quality program delivery

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a point of contact for program participants and internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate with recruiters, program managers, HR partners, and business leaders
  • Support cross‑functional collaboration across talent, learning, and business teams

Growth and Continuous Improvement

  • Learn the purpose, structure, and desired outcomes of each program
  • Contribute ideas and feedback based on execution experience and participant input
  • Build capability to support broader program initiatives and take on increasing responsibility over time

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 or more years of relevant experience in coordination, operations, HR, events, or program support
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in multi-faceted people management and coordination, fostering team development and organizational growth through effective leadership, strategic collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%, based on business need and planning
  • This person should be in proximity to the Louisville, KY Waterside Building for collaboration and business as/if needed.

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$65,000 - $88,600 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
