Account Manager Consumer Goods

Huntsman’s Polyurethanes division is now looking for an Account Manager to focus on Consumer Goods.

The primary function of this role is to promote Huntsman PU products in assigned territories to achieve agreed sales target, deliver growth target and achieve customer satisfaction.

The Job Holder is expected to conduct sales role by selling differentiated systems into flexible and ACS applications, including Flex Pack Adhesive, Hot Melt and Furniture industries.

This role is located in Huntsman Campus, Shanghai(Minhang district).

As the Account Manager, you will:  

  • Ensure the business operation in compliance with company mission & vision by monitoring the application of operating standard procedure.
  • Take responsibility for sales objective delivery, develop value selling and technical understanding to accelerate new business development with the right priority and value proposition.
  • Identify new business opportunities and penetrate into new markets / customers under the guidance of line manager.
  • Develop key account management plan to maintain strong relationships at multiple level to expand market share at key accounts.
  • Monitor market developments, collect data and information on competitors’ movements.
  • Regular sales planning report, customer visit report, market update report, etc.

Skills and experiences required:

Education:

University, Chemical related major is preferred.

Experiences:

At least 3-5 years technical or sales experience in Flexible or Adhesive related industries.

Basic knowledge in PU technology (not imperative but preferred)

Integrity, dedication, open-minded, self-motivated, learning ability, team spirit

Skills:

English speaking and writing

Communication skill

Leadership and independent working ability

Independent problem solving ability

Analytical and creative thinking

Computer application skill (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

Training:

On job PU technical and knowledge training

Facilities operation training in lab and machine hall
