Distribution & New Business Development Manager

At Huntsman Advanced Materials we are looking for an experienced sales professional to join us as a Distribution & New Business Development Manager. In this position you will combine new business development in adhesives markets with management of distribution partners and key accounts (SKI AT), ensuring customer satisfaction, market expansion, and alignment with technical and supply chain teams.

Role Responsibilities: 

As a Distribution & New Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Manage distribution partners to secure effective market coverage and service across the Nordics, Turkey, and part of the DACH region (Ski AT market).

  • Maintain and expand existing accounts, fostering customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term partnerships.

  • Develop new business opportunities in the adhesives market by identifying, approaching, and qualifying potential customers.

  • Lead the complete sales cycle, from initial engagement through to successful deal closure.

  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into tailored solutions.

  • Deliver accurate sales forecasts and market insights to support management in planning and strategy.

  • Gather and share market intelligence on customers, competitors, and trends to refine business strategies.

  • Drive cross-functional coordination to ensure seamless execution across all supporting departments.

  • Uphold strict compliance with EHS guidelines in every aspect of the role

What we are looking for: 

  • University degree, degree in chemistry or chemical engineering would be a plus

  • Proven sales experience in managing distribution networks and developing new business

  • Ability to understand and discuss chemical/mechanical properties with customers, translating needs into tailored adhesive solutions

  • Capacity to set priorities, analyse market intelligence, and adapt strategies to opportunities and threats

  • Skills in key account management, fostering customer satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term partnerships

  • Strong technical and commercial negotiation ability

  • Open-minded approach, great communication skills

  • Ability to work autonomously, and agile while handling fast-paced requests and complex administrative tasks

  • Full fluency in German and English
