Role Overview:  

Huntsman Polyurethanes has an exciting opportunity for a European Demand Analyst to join our EAIME Supply Chain organisation. This is a key role supporting our forecasting and demand planning processes across the region.

Role Responsibilities: 

As a European Demand Analyst you will be responsible for: 

  • Developing and maintaining short-, medium-, and long‑term demand forecasts using statistical models and BI tools.

  • Analysing historical data, market trends, and external factors to identify demand patterns and anomalies.

  • Preparing insights and visualisations to support monthly demand reviews.

  • Working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to gather input on demand drivers, risks, and opportunities.

  • Ensuring alignment between demand forecasts, financial projections, and S&OP processes.

  • Communicating forecast insights and changes clearly to stakeholders.

  • Acting as the key user for OMP Forecaster (Operating Maintenance Plan) and training business partners on tools and processes.

  • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity in forecasting tools (SAP, APO, or other planning systems).

  • Supporting scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.

  • Tracking and reporting key demand planning KPIs (forecast accuracy, bias).

  • Identifying root causes of forecast errors and recommending corrective actions.

  • Coordinating the NPI (New Product Introduction) process to ensure timely execution of all demand‑related steps.

  • Acting as the central point of contact for NPI activities across Technology & Innovation, Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams.

  • Integrating NPI demand inputs into forecasting and S&OP cycles.

  • Participating in cross‑functional projects to improve demand planning maturity and integration with S&OP.

Experience and Competencies: 

We are looking for experienced candidates with strong analytical capability, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for improving forecasting processes.

What we are looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is a plus.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

  • Experience with advanced planning software (OMP, O9, Kinaxis or equivalent) is an advantage.

  • Experience in the manufacturing or chemical sector is an advantage.
