Huntsman Corporation is now looking for a dynamic individual as a Marketing Manager – Key Segments, EMEAI Region. The role is a blend of strategic and operational marketing. Working closely with Technology & Innovation (T&I), Sales, Sustainability and Business Development teams you’ll help launch cutting-edge polyurethane products and strengthen our competitive edge within the industry and beyond. This is your chance to make a real impact in a dynamic, global business. The role would be part of the EMEAI region, the role is posted in Mumbai (India), close to the regional polyurethane teams.

Reporting to the European Marketing Director and dotted line reporting to MD-India Subcontinent, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and execution of the global marketing strategy, including understanding and engaging with our products value chain, customer and market segmentation, innovation, and portfolio management within your region. Support cross functional team to build a competitive advantage and increase profitability of the business. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build a competitive advantage and enhance business profitability. Additionally, you will drive strategy execution in Europe especially in India (regional 5P plan) while working closely with T&I, Sales, and Supply Chain.

This position will be based in Mumbai, India.

As a Marketing Manager – Key Segments, EMEAI Region you will: 

  • Lead marketing activities, ensuring a strong and impactful presence across relevant sub segments. 
  • Be the lead for Composite Wood Products segment across the EMEAI region.
  • Develop and support execution of market segment strategy with the focus in India, driving growth, differentiation while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives 
  • Hold technology partnership discussions with major customers to advance Huntsman brand image and technology leadership in chosen market. Develop joint opportunity funnel to work collaboratively
  • Identify and create new market space that deliver disruptive polyurethane solutions and accelerate commercialization of new technologies 
  • Capture, analyse and interpret market data with the aim to provide actionable insights on market segment level [demand drivers, trends, competitive positioning, …] 
  • Monitor and interpret legislative, technological, and commercial developments and assess their impact on business strategy and product portfolio 
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Sales, T&I, Sustainability) to influence decision-making and guide strategic priorities 
  • Maintain and expand a robust industry network, fostering relationships with OEMs, Tier suppliers and key stakeholders 
  • Represent the company at major industry events, trade shows, and customer engagements 
     
  • Influence, mobilize and drive a cross functional team (no direct reports) around new market opportunities and their development.
  • Lead the project governance process in India for new product development

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

  • Graduate Engineer with MBA from leading university/institute
  • Specialty Chemical industry background - preferably gained in global mid‑ to large‑scale corporations, respectively chemical industry background, 
  • Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of B2B business models, ideally within the chemical, automotive, or other industrial sectors.
  • Proven track record in creating new business opportunities and supporting the commercialization of new products in previously untapped markets.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence cross functional teams to support the development of new projects within our innovation pipeline.
  • A strong entrepreneurial and result driven attitude with a clear understanding of how cross departmental efforts contribute to new product innovations.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience
