Job Description:

Huntsman Corporation is now looking for a dynamic individual as a Quality Team Leader.

This role will be responsible for leading and managing the Quality Team to ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS), covering both product quality and service quality for PU and AdMat divisions. Ensure raw materials and finished goods meet specifications through effective quality control, quality assurance practices, and adherence to Huntsman EHS, ISO standards.

This position will be based in Dong Nai, Vietnam.

As a Quality Team Leader you will: 

Responsible for leading the Quality Team to implement and maintain the Quality Management System, ensuring consistent product and service quality. Oversee quality control and assurance activities for raw materials and finished goods, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards. Collaborate with technical service and formulators to define QC specifications and test methods.

Create a quality tracing program for product or raw material, which has higher sensitivity in quality or higher impact from failure of quality. Lead any quality awareness activity in plant

Be SAP QA Key user with responsibility to create, maintain SAP QA master data, create and maintain production master data of routing and work center. Review, release or block SAP QC result submit by QC technician on daily task.

Quality Assurance investigator in Quality Assurance database for product complaint. Be Coordinator for product complaints. Root cause analysis and close action within agreed target period.

Work closely with Warehouse and Production team for Stock management under product shelf-life control, Slow & Expire stock management by regular review of material shelf life, provide information and recommendation for management decision.   

Monthly Quality performance report.

ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, take responsibility by managing / control processes necessary to ensure that products conform to customer requirements.

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

Hold the degree of Chemistry (preferred) or Chemical engineering

Knowledge in the Polyurethane industry, Advanced Material is a plus

3 years’ experience in QA, QC in Chemical manufacturing.

Proficient in written and spoken English

Proficient in MS Office application

Good skill and knowledge in QA SAP module, statistical quality control and ISO 9001 system are advantages

Leadership, result oriented, Execution, Proactive, good analytical skill and strong decision making,

High supervision skill to lead team to deliver objectives and output on daily operations

Good in time management

Good interpersonal and communication to work with team from other departments and from different cultures to deliver business and quality objectives
