First 30 Days: Onboarding and Ramp-Up

Within your first 30 days, complete HR onboarding, set up your development environment, and tackle initial tickets and bugs from the backlog. Focus on resolving tech debt with tasks requiring minimal subject matter expertise, committing to 3 story points of work, all with comprehensive tests. Complete IAM-specific courses and maintain availability during core business hours while communicating proactively.

60 Days and Beyond: Ownership and Impact

By day 60, ramp up to more complex tickets, bugs, and projects, collaborating cross-functionally to streamline IAM processes and enhance reliability.

Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal role, you'll lead comprehensive IAM programs encompassing Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Access Management (AM). Integrate IAM systems seamlessly with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as on-premises applications and directories. Develop and enforce role-based access control (RBAC) policies rooted in least-privilege and zero-trust principles. Implement automated provisioning, de-provisioning, and role management to boost efficiency.

Manage SSO, MFA, and password systems while leading IAM projects with Technology, DevOps, and Security teams. Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and streamline processes through automation using Java, SQL, PowerShell, Python, or Go. Enforce policies to mitigate threats, collaborate with leadership on best practices, and stay ahead of industry trends. Qualifications & Requirements

CrowdStrike seeks candidates with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, plus 3+ years of hands-on experience in IAM or IT security roles. Demonstrate strong expertise in IAM concepts, RBAC, and protocols like SAML, OAuth, and OIDC. Proficiency with leading IGA platforms, such as IIQ 8.X (On-Prem) or IdentityNow/ISC (Cloud), is essential, alongside experience integrating with cloud environments.

A deep understanding of regulatory compliance (SOX, HIPAA, GDPR), business processes, risk management, and IT controls is required. Excel in access certification, role management, and segregation of duties (SoD) controls.
