📋 Job Overview

The 2026 Client Engineering Intern at IBM will combine technical education with consultative sales skills to drive enterprise success through solutions in Cloud, Data & AI, Security, and Automation. The role involves solution-selling, client management, sales process management, and collaboration with the IBM ecosystem to build sales campaigns and expand business opportunities.

📍 Location: Jakarta, ID (Remote/Hybrid)

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and employ solution-selling techniques to identify and engage decision makers and influencers, qualify business opportunities, and respond to clients' needs
  • Manage a dedicated client set and define, confirm and communicate the differentiated value of IBM's technology at both the technical and business level
  • Manage the entire sales process and ensure delivery against KPIs, with a strong emphasis on new business sales, while expanding existing accounts
  • Collaborate with the broader IBM sales ecosystem, from Marketing to Sales and technical colleagues, to IBM Business Partners, in order to build sales campaigns and incremental pipeline

✅ Required Qualifications

  • Currently studying in a technical course such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills that are engaging, compelling and influential
  • Must be enrolled in University at the duration of the program
  • Must be at the Final year of University
  • Must be amenable for a 3 to 6 internship program
  • Must be amenable to start January of 2026
