📋 Job Overview
The Appian Architect/Senior Developer at IBM will design and develop Appian solutions, including end-to-end process automation and complex solutions using various Appian object types. The role involves integrating with external applications, developing and updating Appian plugins, and reviewing application performance. Candidates must have extensive experience in Appian development and related technologies, and be able to work on large-scale business-critical applications.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Implementing end to end process automation using Appian and other intelligent automation technologies
- Developing Appian based complex solutions using all object types available in Appian
- Integrating with external applications using connected systems; REST and SOAP based APIs
- Developing Appian plugins (Java)
- Updating Appian plugins for security vulnerabilities
- Reviewing Application performance and suggesting improvements
✅ Required Qualifications
- Certified Level 2 Appian Developer (Senior Developer) with 3+ Years of experience as a hands-on Appian Developer building complex enterprise grade production applications
- 1+ years of experience developing Appian Plugins
- 2+ years of experience in configuring, debugging, and systems integration including configuring user interfaces, reports, underlying logic, and interface components as a developer as well as relational databases and SQL scripting
- 3+ years of experience in all phases of software development for large-scale business critical applications following Agile methodologies
- 2+ years of experience in the design and implementation of SOAP and REST APIs
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance

- 2+ years Federal experience on a software development project
- 1 Year of Experience building Java or Python based applications
- Application Performance Optimization, NoSQL databases
