📋 Job Overview
As an Application Developer-DevOps at IBM Consulting, you will lead the design and construction of new mobile solutions, implement automation for application build and deployment, and work within an agile framework to drive continuous improvements. You will be based in one of IBM's Client Innovation Centers, delivering technical expertise to clients globally.
📍 Location: Mumbai, IN (Remote/Hybrid)

🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and construction of new mobile solutions using the latest technologies
- Strive for continuous improvements by testing the build solution and working under an agile framework
- Discover and implement the latest technology trends to maximize and build creative solutions
- Automate the current deployment process using Ansible, such as deploying war files (Java applications) to Tomcat servers
- Configure and manage inventories for different environments
- Provide regular support and guidance to project teams on complex coding, issue resolution, and execution
✅ Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in designing and implementing automation for application build and deployment
- Hands-on experience in developing common (custom) roles for re-use across multiple applications
- Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux
- Strong knowledge of scripting tools: Shell, Powershell, YAML

- Good understanding of different types of variables
- Good knowledge of jinja templates
