📋 Job Overview
As an Application Developer-DevOps at IBM Consulting, you will lead the design and construction of new mobile solutions, implement automation for application build and deployment, and work within an agile framework to drive continuous improvements. You'll be based in one of IBM's Client Innovation Centers, delivering technical expertise to clients globally and focusing on adding business value through innovative technology solutions.
📍 Location: Mumbai, IN (Remote/Hybrid)

🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and construction of new mobile solutions using the latest technologies
- Strive for continuous improvements by testing the build solution and working under an agile framework
- Discover and implement the latest technology trends to maximize and build creative solutions
- Develop design of application and provide regular support/guidance to project teams on complex coding, issue resolution, and execution
- Follow best practices during Ansible playbook development
- Automate the current deployment process using Ansible, such as deploying war files (Java applications) to Tomcat servers
- Configure and manage inventories for different environments
✅ Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in designing and implementing automation for application build and deployment
- Hands-on experience developing common (custom) roles for re-use across multiple applications
- Understanding of API calls and responses
- Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux
- Strong knowledge of scripting tools: Shell, Powershell, YAML

- Good knowledge of jinja templates
