📋 Job Overview

As a DevOps Cloud Engineer at IBM, you will design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure to ensure scalability, reliability, and security. 🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, and Azure using Terraform and automation tools
  • Implement automation and orchestration tools to streamline deployment, monitoring, and management processes
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions for automated testing and deployment
  • Work closely with development teams to optimize application performance in cloud environments
  • Manage and optimize containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), and service mesh solutions (Istio)
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, ensuring high availability and reliability
  • Implement security best practices, including TLS, mTLS, certificates, encryption, IAM policies, and secrets management
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and scalability
  • Participate in on-call rotation

✅ Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer
  • Strong expertise in AWS, Load Balancers (ALB/NLB/ELB), IAM, Security Groups, and VPC networking
  • Expert-level knowledge of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Extensive hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS/AKS)
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Argo, Helm, and Kustomize
  • Familiarity with security protocols, encryption, transport layer security (TLS/mTLS), and certificate management
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell and Python for automation
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including VPCs, subnets, firewalls, DNS, and load balancing
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Demonstrated experience with AWS or Azure cloud or GCP
  • Demonstrated experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools as Terraform
  • Demonstrated experience with container technologies, Docker and Kubernetes
