Executive Search Lead

📋 Job Overview

The Executive Search Lead at IBM is responsible for developing and executing global search strategies to attract and hire top executive talent, ensuring a signature experience. This role involves partnering with HR and business leaders to understand talent needs and proactively identify future talent, while leveraging a global network to enhance search strategies. The position requires deep knowledge of IBM's businesses, market trends, and competitors to provide advisory services on executive searches.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute search strategies globally to identify, attract, select and hire world-class executive talent into IBM
  • Partner with HR Executives and Executive Business Leadership to understand needed talent pipelines, capabilities and strengths
  • Develop cost effective search strategies to proactively identify future talent needs
  • Create structure and rigor around candidate management / experience
  • Leverage and develop a global network through industry contacts, association memberships, and hiring executives
  • Keep abreast of best practices in leadership and executive recruiting
  • Provide deep knowledge of IBM Businesses, global market trends, key competitors and key talent
  • Provide advisory services to the Hiring Executive on all search matters
  • Interpret business requirements and translate them into successful recruitment solutions
  • Promote IBM as a premier employer of choice in the global marketplace
  • Develop and negotiate executive compensation packages
  • Manage the offer process
  • Ensure seamless transition to Executive Onboarding
  • Track and document the overall assignment progress via the Global Executive Recruitment Database
