As an FP&A SR Financial Analyst at IBM, you will join a team of over 60 analysts supporting a rapidly growing semiconductor client. Your role involves managing financial systems, performing data analysis, and contributing to budgeting and forecasting processes. 🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining accounting and financial systems
- Ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data processing
- Downloading and uploading financial data
- Setting up systems and templates in SAP
- Performing system maintenance, including tie-outs
- Developing financial reporting
- Supporting forecasting, budgeting, and closing cycles
- Conducting data analyses for periodic financial and operational reviews
- Contributing to budgets, forecasts, capital planning, and long-term financial strategies at the department level
- Performing gap analyses
- Calculating capex and depreciation expenses
- Collecting financial information from internal stakeholders
- Preparing, documenting, and recording journal entries in alignment with accounting policies
✅ Required Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and accounting processes
- Exposure to forecasting and budgeting within a company’s P&L
- Foundational knowledge of financial and accounting analysis to support business decisions
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), tax regulations, and internal control requirements
- Familiarity with spreadsheets and databases
