📋 Job Overview
The Lead AI Architect at IBM specializes in AI and AIOps solutions, serving as a Chief Architect for major accounts. This role involves leading complex technical solutions from conception to implementation, acting as a trusted advisor to clients, and demonstrating significant global technical impact. The position requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership to manage and execute innovative AI solution architectures.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Establish trusted client relationships and act as a technical advisor to key client executives
- Lead large, complex technical solutions from solutioning through implementation
- Demonstrate sustained technical leadership in directing clients’ processes to move solutions to market fast and reliably
- Function as a trusted technology advisor to key clients and IBM Leadership
- Assist clients in their technical strategy, execution, and understanding of system complexities
- Apply knowledge and experience in latest technologies (Cloud AI, Data, Edge, etc.) to create and apply solutions
- Provide technical solution design and delivery leadership on key projects or programs
- Leverage and develop emerging solutions through collaborative development with clients
- Drive standards and best practices to prevent/recover troubled projects and enhance the solution portfolio
- Engage and leverage eco-system capabilities and partners
- Coach and mentor other employees and become a role model for the IBM Technical community
- Provide technical leadership to other top technical employees
- Participate in Academy of Technology and technology team studies, and represent IBM externally
- Create a sustained record of invention or developing intellectual capital
- Encourage team members to develop plans to increase eminence
