📋 Job Overview
The Microwave Design Engineer at IBM Quantum will contribute to the development of advanced high-performance circuits for quantum computing systems, focusing on microwave circuit designs for Josephson parametric devices. The role involves designing microwave filters and resonator structures for use in traveling-wave parametric amplifiers and Josephson junction devices, working within a multi-disciplinary team at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of novel readout chains through the design of microwave filters for use with traveling-wave parametric amplifiers (TWPAs)
- Design resonator structures for use in Josephson junction devices
- Create and communicate technical ideas
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
✅ Required Qualifications
- Experience with relevant development tools such as Ansys HFSS, Keysight ADS, Cadence, or other industry standard tools
