📋 Job Overview
As a Package Consultant-SAP BTP at IBM Consulting, you will design and implement applications on SAP BTP, develop SAP extensions, and integrate various SAP and non-SAP systems. You'll work in IBM's Client Innovation Centers, delivering technical expertise to clients globally and driving innovation through new technology adoption.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement applications on SAP BTP using Cloud Foundry, Kyma, SAP CAP, and Node.js/Java
- Develop SAP extensions using SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Work Zone, and SAP UI5/Fiori
- Model and expose services using CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model)
- Build integrations using SAP Integration Suite (Cloud Integration, API Management, Event Mesh)
- Implement event-driven architectures using SAP Event Mesh and asynchronous messaging
- Integrate SAP BTP with SAP S/4HANA (on-premise and cloud), SAP ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, and non-SAP systems
- Leverage SAP BTP services such as Destination, XSUAA, Workflow Management, Business Rules
- Design secure architectures including authentication, authorization, and identity provisioning
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for BTP applications using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or SAP CI/CD
- Ensure performance tuning, monitoring, and lifecycle management via BTP Cockpit
- Follow Agile/DevOps methodologies and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
- Work with functional teams to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions
- Provide technical guidance, documentation, and best-practice recommendations
- Mentor junior developers and drive code reviews
- Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
✅ Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
- Understanding and design of client-side and server-side architecture
- Experience with SAP BTP, its services, and deployment approach
- Experience with Web Technologies SAPUI5, Fiori, Node.js
- Experience in SAP BTP CF, CAPM using Node.js, CDS
- Experience in BTP build work zone standard/advance edition
- Strong SAP Landscape knowledge along with latest offerings from BTP
- Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
- Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g., HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML)
- Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g., C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP service uses and deployment strategy
