As a Pre-sales Engineer for Data Integration at IBM, you will drive the technical aspects of the sales process, focusing on the MET region within EMEA.   • Actively drive and manage all technical aspects of the sales process
  • Establish and nurture relationships with technology partners (SI and ISV)
  • Provide advocacy and thought leadership through engagements with prospects, partners, and market
  • Maintain and nurture client relationships while highlighting the value of IBM's technology solutions
  • Apply solution-selling techniques to engage with decision-makers, assess and qualify opportunities, and establish enduring partnerships
  • Oversee the full sales process, including handling RFI/RFP responses, demonstrations, and Proof of Concepts
  • Collaborate with IBM's sales ecosystem to develop and execute sales campaigns, leading to the growth of the sales pipeline

โœ… Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 yearsโ€™ experience in Pre-Sales or Consulting roles, with the last 2 years in Senior or Principal positions
  • Experience across a range of relevant technology domains including Big Data architectures, Streaming Architectures, Cloud Architectures, and Cloud Infrastructures
  • Native or excellent English and Dutch language skills
  • Experience with data industry, focusing on ETL, BI, analytics applications, big data, and streaming applications
  • Linux experience and exposure to programming languages such as Java, Perl, Python, and Unix Shell scripts
  • Familiarity with containerized infrastructure like Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with big data and cloud technologies including Hadoop, Spark, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Snowflake, and Databricks

  • Additional European language at business level (French, German preferred)
