📋 Job Overview
As a Project Manager - Japanese Bilingual at IBM Consulting, you will lead project teams in delivering custom development solutions and managing application maintenance and support. You'll work closely with clients across various industries to enhance their hybrid cloud and AI strategies, leveraging IBM's robust technology platforms and strategic partner ecosystem. This role requires fluency in Japanese and the ability to work flexible hours across different IBM locations in Quezon City or Cebu.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Leads a project team in delivering custom development solutions
- Leads a project team in the Maintenance and Support of an application or set of applications
- Manages scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables
- Manages project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements, including IBM and Client employees and 3rd party vendors
- Manages all project resources, including subcontractors
- Establishes an effective communication plan with the project team and the Client
- Provides day to day direction to the project team and regular project status to the Client
✅ Required Qualifications
- Fluent in Japanese language (speaking, reading, and writing kanji)
- Able to translate English to Japanese and vice versa
- Ability to estimate effort and all impacts of proposed solution
- Very good communication skills
- Analytical and creative problem solving skills
- Ability to cooperate and take business and solution lead in multi-vendor teams
- Amenable to work on a client-based schedule (dayshift, mid-shift, night-shift) and in any IBM location in Quezon City (Eastwood and/or UP Ayala Technohub) or Cebu
