As a Senior Principal at IBM Promontory Australia, you will manage risk, regulatory, and compliance engagements, analyze complex problems, and develop recommendations for clients. You will lead projects, prepare deliverables, and build relationships across the industry to identify new business opportunities.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted client point of contact on a day-to-day basis
- Manage projects and associated staff on a day-to-day basis contributing to engagements being delivered to a high quality standard within set budgets
- Undertake analysis as directed and take responsibility for the preparation of project deliverables, including reports and presentations
- Build and retain relationships across the industry and identify opportunities for further work
- Establish and maintain positive relationships and build teams that are motivated to succeed
✅ Required Qualifications
- At least 8-10 years’ experience in areas such as governance, risk management, compliance, operations risk, superannuation, regulatory consulting and/or financial services firms
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Finance, Law or Business Administration
⭐ Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in non-financial risk management including operational risk and resilience
- Experience in superannuation
- Postgraduate qualifications
- Direct exposure to specialist areas relating to non-financial risk management, such as operational risk, operational resilience, technology risk and/or data management
- Demonstrated experience in building and managing project teams to address complex issues in high pressure situations
- Track record working in an unstructured environment where engagement leaders are expected to identify and develop innovative approaches and solutions to address client challenges
