- Define models for superconducting qubit coherence to optimize gate fidelity
- Collaborate with gate simulation, design, and performance teams to steer the most promising directions for optimizing design and operation of qubit couplers
- Align efforts with the IBM Quantum roadmap deliverables
✅ Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in physics or related field
- Experience measuring and simulating quantum devices using electromagnetic and quantum physics
- Experience in fabrication processes and materials of superconducting devices

- PhD degree, postdoctoral experience, and/or professional experience in the field of superconducting qubits
- Model-hardware correlation of superconducting qubit coherence and/or gate fidelity
