As a Sales Development Representative at IBM, you will focus on converting marketing Client Interests into Sales Qualified Leads, supporting all client segments with a special emphasis on Select Digital/Commercial clients. Your role involves prospecting, digital research, personal branding, and digital communications to drive lead quality and new client acquisition in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Progress assigned marketing Client Interests (CIs) and convert them into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)
  • Pass new opportunities to the business partner (Ecosystem) or IBM sales teams
  • Focus on inbound client activity to achieve industry standard service levels
  • Drive greater lead quality and new client acquisition
  • Support all client segments with special focus on Select Digital/Commercial Client
  • Utilize prospecting skills to identify new opportunities and nurture leads from online client interactions
  • Conduct digital research to understand buyer personas, influencing factors, and competitive insights
  • Establish personal branding as a subject matter expert
  • Leverage digital communications to reach clients and prospects
  • Demonstrate agility and adaptability to work in a cross-functional team and adapt to changing markets/client needs
